Hi, this is Adela. I tell stories that go beneath the surface. I’m a storyteller passionate about solutions journalism, data-driven reporting and audio production. Currently, I’m completing the final year of my Erasmus Mundus postgraduate studies in Journalism, Media and Globalisation at City St George’s, University of London.
Why I do this
I’m passionate about telling stories that matter, especially those that often go unheard. One of the reasons I chose journalism is curiosity. I’ve always wanted to understand how the world works. Through reporting, I explore the forces that shape our lives, from social crises and environmental challenges to breakthroughs in health research. I look for solutions and present them through evidence-based storytelling.
Across borders
Over the past few years, I’ve studied in four countries: Czechia, Canada, Denmark, and the UK. Living across borders taught me to embrace different ways of life. It also pushed me to learn more languages.
I speak Czech, English and German. I am learning Irish and Danish.
Studies and experience
I’m currently finishing my final year of postgraduate studies in Journalism, Media and Globalisation at City St George’s, University of London, after studying in Aarhus, Denmark as part of the Erasmus Mundus programme.
